Swim Ireland are delighted to launch the Clubs and Community Prize Draw, a new and exciting fundraising initiative for our clubs to support their fundraising efforts.
The last two years have been particularly challenging for our aquatic community, with a reduction of income and increased costs due to COVID-19. We hope the Clubs and Community Prize Draw can provide the cash injection our clubs need to be sustainable and successful over the coming year.
Speaking on the launch, Swim Ireland’s Club Support Manager, Aisling McKeever, said: “Our club volunteers have been incredible over the last couple of years, going above and beyond to keep their clubs open and members safe.
“We know how important fundraising is but also appreciate how difficult it can be to organise and manage events and prize draws. We are hoping to lighten the burden by taking on the operational aspect of the Clubs and Community Prize Draw, which we hope will maximise the fundraising potential for clubs.”
With superb prizes on offer and just €5 per ticket we are hoping to raise over €40,000 for participating clubs. As an extra incentive our partners at Swimkit.ie have kindly sponsored a bonus club draw with a €2,000 voucher up for grabs. €4 from every purchase goes to the nominated club.
