Graine Phelan

I swam competitively with Limerick Swimming Club until 2002. Between 2005-2009 I swam with Limerick Masters Swimming Club. I returned to LSC as a coach in 2013 where I coached the Senior C squad for two years. I then transitioned to a relief coach and now primarily cover sessions between all the squads in the club. I also assist with the coaching of our own Para-swimmers. I am a Level 2 coach with Swim Ireland as well as a Level 1 team manager. I also am a Swim Ireland Full Teacher and work with UL Sport and Seal Swimming Club.

My qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Gaeilge (University of Limerick), a masters in Adapted Physical Activity (KU Leuven, Belgium), a National Swimming Classifier with Paralympics Ireland and Irish Water Safety Examiner.
